CloudLightning was recently featured at two conferences in Brussels – Cloudscape 2016 and NetFutures 2016.
CLOUDSCAPE 2016
Cloudscape is a conference for IT professionals and CEOs that are bringing new products and services to market or rethinking their digital strategies to stay ahead of their game. It is an event where IT leaders can have a two-way conversation with policy leaders from the European Commission. In fact, according to Silvana Muscella, CEO & Founder Trust-IT Services, in 2016 it was a balanced mix – 29% of the attendees were Academia & Research, 21% from Industry, 18% Govt. & Public Administration; 15% SMEs, 8% Consultancy, 9% Other.

NET FUTURES 2016
Net Futures is an annual conference that aims to maximize competitiveness of the European technology industry. In 2016, the event gathered over 1.000 attendees in Research & Innovation, Market Validation & Living Lab Research, Business Development, Entrepreneurship & Enterprise Strategy and Policy Making.
CloudLightning is a part of two clusters of European projects on cloud – Inter-cloud Challenges, Expectations and Issues and New Approaches for Infrastructure Services and was featured at both booths at Net Futures 2016.
INTER-CLOUD CHALLENGES, EXPECTATIONS AND ISSUES
The goal of the cluster it is to create a critical mass of projects addressing the topic of multi-cloud and inter-cloud approaches so to share experiences, collaborate on approaches and discuss challenges for adoption and future research.
NEW APPROACHES FOR INFRASTRUCTURE SERVICES
The cluster intends to be a forum for discussing the current research and innovation challenges encountered at infrastructure-as-a-service level generated by the desire to improve the user experiences and the efficient use of the available resources.
